Citronella plants are most commonly known for their ability to repel mosquitoes.  The strong fragrance emitted by the plant masks the scents that attract mosquitoes, making it less likely for them to land on you or your guests. By planting citronella in your garden or on your patio, you can enjoy outdoor activities without the annoyance of mosquito bites.

A member of the geranium family, citronella plants  are easy to grow. They do best in full sun and drier conditions. Citronella can be grown in containers or directly in the ground, making them suitable for gardens of all sizes.
