Plectranthus, Swedish Ivy

Swedish Ivy (plectranthus) is a very easy to grow foliage plant. It quickly fills out baskets and containers. In mixed containers it can overwhelm less vigourous plants but does well in a container by itself. It thrives in the shade or part shade where other plants might be challenged. Not grown for its blooms but primarily for its lovely leaf colours and variegations.

It likes to be regularly watered to stay in prime condition. If it goes dry, it will forgive however and begin re-sprouting leaves after a leaf drop episode.
